Born and raised in the mountains of eastern Washington, Phillip Kopczynski started comedy at age 11 doing pratfalls to make his Down Syndrome sister laugh cause she was terrible at chess. Now he’s a reluctant nice guy and father who really wants to just play catch a couple times a week in the backyard. Phillip worked in corporate America for 10 years before beginning his comedy career, which wound him right back in the corporate world where he has performed for Red Lion Hotels, Godfathers Franchise groups, Altria, IPH, Bunzl, Pacific Steel, and many other companies local to the Inland Northwest.
He has placed second at Colorado Springs World Series of Comedy Satellite, won Valleyfest Clean Comedy Competition, and has performed from Vancouver BC to Orlando, Florida. He has been deemed funny enough by venue owners to work with Kyle Kinane, Bert Kreischer, Adam Ferrara, Tim Meadows, Jay Mohr, Jubal Flagg, Dan Cummins, Fortune Feimster and many other top talent.
Phillip has been seen in commercials for Whitworth University and Goodwill along with the very popular Barats and Beretta YouTube Channel (120M views).
He is the author of the novel Freedom Weed and sketch comedy collection Comedy with Friends.
